Michaels stuff is so much better than Warbases IMHO. If you look at the planking on his designs for instance the planks are not separated by perfect straight lines but slightly irregular, more naturalistic, ones.

I had never heard of him, and his website isn't exactly informative.
But I shall look forward to having a look when the on-line shop opens 'in August'...
Whatever happened to 4Ground. I saw they went broke but is there a story there?

I don't know that he cares much. I think he does stuff that interests him, then is quite happy for anyone else to sell them. I picked up all his "Arabic" stuff ages ago, and since then it's Claymore or the once in a blue moon his online shop is open...

Lovely models but mostly 'overlarge' for my tastes, as it seems aimed at the Figure Fiddler market rather than massed battle chaps. His Spanish/Italian/Mediterranean stuff I have in GHQ is lovely, but it's the smaller buildings and the cut down tower in my Palazzo.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

Ok, so a new 3d printer, magnets, bases, and a bucket load of superglue.

These are going to be great. No prices I can see yet but I'd be happy if they match Spencer Smiths 30mm pricing.

Re: What are people buying?
The new one has a much larger print bed, so almost 5 times the volume of the original, so I can print much larger items, or print many more in a single print. I'm still learning how to get the best out of it. And the old one kept wigging out. I've completed a T35 in 1/200 as a test, so will be running a few more off this weekend.
