Long and the short and the tall.

Post by Spanner »

I'm not a gun painter like Jez, Tim, Ocoin, etc, so these aren't for admiring, they're just proof that I do more than type about gaming. Dismounted CHQ (left two bases) and FOO party (right hand base- PSC 15mm)on the top, Tudor's 2nd bill contingent (Perry's 28mm WotR) below.

All I need do now is get them into a game (not necessarily the same game, mind- you know what I mean). Just noticed a few things I need to fix. Why does that only happen after you take the bloody photos?

Thanks for the kind words, Willz. They'll do the job on the table. At least they will after they do the usual first-game-rout.

I used to know somebody who tried to get around that by always using them in a solo game at home before he ever took them anywhere. I'm not aware that it ever worked, though.

I don't think there's a cure/fix for it, mate. I just try to either put them in the 2nd line or on a flank, to try to minimise the damage. At least the FOO won't do much damage if it routs or gets KIA, while CHQ will probably rout and take the company with it. My mate may want to try and secure a win for his Bulgarians when CHQ gets fielded for the first time.
