Tim/Gary, I’ve got a decent amount of Zulus that never see the table. I’d like to use them on one day and my Colonials on another, is that possible? Thought it might be nice to switch things up a bit.

Thanks for the loan offers gents. I'd like to paint something up if I can as its half the fun but stand by in case I don't manage it. I might pick up something in Leeds yet and have my eye on some Perry types.

The last weekend in April, at least I hope it is because we'll never get the hall a week later!

Or maybe not. Isn't there a suggestion they'll move the bank holiday to a week later for the Coronation?
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.

Unfortunately the NAO have pulled our year end audit forward by a month. I doubt I can get away Friday afternoon and I definitely have to be back Sunday evening if the bank holiday is moved. At this stage it looks like driving down early Saturday morning and back Sunday evening. I’ve booked one night at the lodge and can always extend if I can get away Friday afternoon

I've booked in for the 28th/29th at Ayton Lodge today, when asked if I'm part of the 'group of men' that books the weekend I said yes... not sure if that pushed the room rate up, or if I'm part of some other deviant group :fp:

I fear that you've fallen in with a proper dodgy bunch.

I thought i'd already booked so I thought I'd checked and I hadn't!! :D

But holy moly! Their prices have shot up.....I presume they've gold plated the toilets or have decided to follow the GW marketing route of raising prices well above costs to combat less trade!!
