Chain of Command Sci Fi??

Post by Paul »

There was some chatter a couple of years ago that a Sci Fi variant of Chain of Command was in testing.
I know there's some "Lardie boys" hang out here so I thought i'd ask if this ever got any further in development?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know about CoC variants but there's a Sci Fi Lion Rampant (Xenos Rampant) out soon.

Yup XR is out next month I think?
I'm not totally sold on it though. :(
I like the ideas behind CoC and was curious how it had been translated over to Sci Fi.

There’s 40K and Star Wars variants. My current project is building up Rebel and Empire forces.

Ioan Davies has done extensive 40K lists.

I’ve played Star Wars CoC and it’s ace. Doesn’t feel like WW2 CoC rebranded. The core rules are there, but there’s enough flavour to give it a different feel.

I assume you could also easily adapt Quadrant 13 which I believe is the sci fi version of iabsm ? Just layer on the CoC command rules since most of the other CoC rules are very similar to iabsm anyway I think?

Jeremy your star wars thing is looking very impressive

Somebody (Jeff I think?) has written CoC activation for IABSM. Think it was in one of the annuals

Did you see the pro-painted Burrg on facebook this week? Cant remember where I saw it but it looked amazing. I'm sure it was the one in the top left of your pic.

These look fab! You're making good use of the printer now!
