Nothing too exciting in the latest blog-post, just some new cavalry regiments: The Gens d'Armes (CR 10), 'Blanckensee' Dragoons (DR 2) and 'Wartenberg' Hussars (HR 3). All 18mm Eureka figures:

They are very nice, smart looking regiments.

Thanks fellas! Those bloody hussars were a ballache. I think it's my eyesight these days, but I just can't see where the yellow is going when painted on white.

Didn't the Gens d'Armes have a vexilium style of standard or was that another unit?

Lovely figures, mate. Agreed bout the hussars- it was hard enough to paint the dolman in 28mm, let alone trying it in 18mm.
The Leibeskadron of the Garde du Corps was the unit that carried the vexillum, mate. The Gensdarmes carried the usual kürassiere standards.Didn't the Gens d'Armes have a vexilium style of standard or was that another unit?
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
Re: Some SYW Prussian Cavalry Reinforcements
Wot Spanner said. I painted the Garde du Corps a very, very long time ago. One of the good things about Old Glory was that they would sometimes throw an extra figure into the bag, in order to cover all the options. So the bag of 30 Cuirassiers was actually 31, as they'd include the Garde du Corps eagle/vexillum bearer.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Sat Oct 22, 2022 7:08 pm Didn't the Gens d'Armes have a vexilium style of standard or was that another unit?

I stand corrected. Well, sit corrected to be completely accurate (standing in your underpants is just sooo embarrassing.....).
