A second unit finished today the 10th Prussian grenadiers, using Spencer Smiths from my pre-painted stash.
Lightened the blue, repainted the flesh, white and the metals.
Flag from David at "Not by Appointment".
The sergeant, drummer and officer with standard are conversions.

Re: 10th Prussian grenadiers,
Are these (finally!) the last of the firing figures I gave you a couple of years back? If so, you've done a damned good job on them (if not, then my figures obviously gave you the practice to achieve perfection).

Cheers for your kind comment, no Brandon those figures were painted a couple of years ago.BaronVonWreckedoften wrote: ↑Fri Dec 09, 2022 5:36 pm Are these (finally!) the last of the firing figures I gave you a couple of years back? These were purchased last week.

Re: 10th Prussian grenadiers,
You must have enough figures for a 1:1 game of Kolin or Prague by now, Willz. Well done.
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
Re: 10th Prussian grenadiers,
Excellent stuff again! you can never have too many. Better to be safe...
That said, I was just wondering whether to bother buying and painting any Hessian and Brunswick grenadiers, or just use the Prussians I've already got. None of mine have flags, so it's only the very minor uniform differences that mark them out.

Re: 10th Prussian grenadiers,
Just paint Hessian command stands RMD, I have several regiments that I must build extra command stands for so that I may use them for different armies.RMD wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 11:24 am Excellent stuff again! you can never have too many. Better to be safe...

Re: 10th Prussian grenadiers,
I don't even need to do that, as my grenadiers don't have flags (I also base entire battalions on one stand).Willz the Wargamer wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 1:34 pmJust paint Hessian command stands RMD, I have several regiments that I must build extra command stands for so that I may use them for different armies.RMD wrote: ↑Sat Dec 10, 2022 11:24 am Excellent stuff again! you can never have too many. Yeah, I think I'll just use the Prussians.
