High Street bargains!
High Street bargains!
It occurs to me that a thread giving a 'heads up' on shop bargains might be useful.
The Works
The shop's Christmas decoration offerings include cute little fur trees - 5 in a bag for £1.
Suitable for up to 10mm, 15mm at a pinch. Or perhaps as garden or hedgerow trees for larger size figures.
The trees have spots of 'snow' on some branches, but they're easily painted over. I bought the trees with green foliage, but I think they also do some which are silver......which is madness of course (spray them your colour of choice.....blue for some I imagine).

I wonder if their wooden sleighs would work for 28mm? Altefritzenburg Mountain Regiment!
And who can resist their resin Brussels Sprout decorations...

You could mount gun barrels on them.

I bet they'd be perfect with a little bit of tinkering for Russian style horse-drawn sleds??
