I get my AK from Scale Model Model Shop and find his service excellent.Atheling_2006 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 6:31 pmYeah, me too. I contacted the vendor I bought the varnish from Scale model Shop, who are usually excellent, from too but he was of very little help.
Basically the varnish was not fit for purpose and should have been replaced.
Where we differ, however, is that if I got a bad bottle (value £2.65) I would just chuck it in the bin and move on.

Me too. Fantastic service and no blame attributed to them for the state of the varnish. I am just a bit disappointed that no replacements were in the offering.Wg Cdr Luddite wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 6:23 pmI get my AK from Scale Model Model Shop and find his service excellent.Atheling_2006 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 30, 2022 6:31 pmYeah, me too. Yeah, I can see what you're saying but it's the principle of the thing really.Wg Cdr Luddite wrote: ↑Wed Aug 31, 2022 6:23 pm Where we differ, however, is that if I got a bad bottle (value £2.65) I would just chuck it in the bin and move on.
