A wonderful army! :-) Do I spot some Not By Appoointment flags in there? The shading on some looks familar. May I nit-pick slightly and point out that on image fa11 the central flags (of La Sarre, I think) have the colonel's flag upside down, as the shading suggests!

Cheers,

David.

:x OK, Smartie. And what makes you think you're right.......
Oh. You're the wonderful person who runs NBA. Thank you for the correction.
and many, many thanks for your work. I'll get round to fixing that flag. Dal's also pointed out my Grenadiers d'France have the wrong flag & that'll need to be fixed too.

I should probably apologise for Soubise's two flags which I made up. I wanted something to distinguish my SYW c-i-cs on the field of battle. I used the Soubise family crest for them.

You may, but be prepared to be kept busy as fixing flags upside down is something of a regular occurrence on here.

Just sayin'.....

Ha ha! :-) Thank you. Glad you like and use the flags. You've probably seen my version of the Grenadiers de France flag, if you need it: https://nba-sywtemplates.blogspot.com/2 ... ag-of.html

No need to apologise for the Soubise flags; I always feel a) you can never have too many flags and b) make them up if necessary, and yours look fine to me. :-)

Cheers,

David.

Ha ha! Yes. It is something I quite often spot here and there... :-)

Replacing flags isn't that hard.
I'm a bit of an expert at making mistakes with them so having had to replace several, I know.

A sharp scalpel, run down the pole, removes them quickly & cleanly.

Good to know that, Donald. I have some Crimean War troops who will need some remedial flag work at some point...

Cheers,
