Simon and Purps.....a pox on you both.............and Andy, who tells me one only needs twelve bases for a game.

Hi EB
You could use your 25mm Minifigs ?
I have the rules and was considering using them with my 20mm classic Napoleonic figures.. I would use 50mm movement bases with 8 infantry or 3 cavalry.

Morning Mark,
I saw this after sending my e-mail of a few minutes ago.
Nah! Not enough figures on a base for my taste (I have taste, contrary to...etc). I did consider 10mm figures on a DBN 25mm base though! Simon has scotched that idea though.
If and when I get my 25mils up and running, I think I'll use something really old school......possibly even the WRG 'Flinch Point' rules.......my mate Laurie would appreciate that.

DbN works fine with bigger bases. I played it with 10mm on 60mm frontage bases and scaled all the measurements up by 50%. Then I sold them all.
Now of course i'm considering 10mm on standard bases for the War of 1812.

Of course you are!
What sort of representation would you go for, i.e. the number of men represented by a base?

It's Dbn so whatever suits for the battle

(or being les facetious, probably around 200 men per element and down grading smaller units as per some lists in the rules)
Thankfully it's difficult to find the right 10mm figures....phew!

Fake News !! 10mm figs on a 25mm basing frontage is a very fine idea. The only reason I didn’t do it myself was because I wanted a low-effort project so went for smaller bases and dip painting.

Yesbut, yesbut you've started, so theirs no point in doing it on 25mm bases. You're so selfish.

It's 10mm. Surely, it doesn't matter what figures you use..............?
