True in ceasars day, but they were becoming rare from then on.
Same problem with romans though. Legion 1 to many. Auxillery foot, 1 to many, slingers, 1 to many, auxillery cavalry 1 to many.

So, I have enough for a Caesarian and Numidian allies force already. Easily enough for a variety of armies for the Republic once the supplement comes out. Just need to paint them..

Freya is due home in a couple of weeks so I'm expecting to get plenty of painting time with a new baby in the house and I'll be going back to work (from home) so it should work out well..
