Using the rules as written we are allowed one crewed weapon in a 24 point force, as we are playing 30 points are two allowable?

You're allowed twice the normal complement when facing Andy (or if his table-length march takes him through your deployment zone). And you get to re-roll misses.

I have no objection to two. They are not hugely effective under the Men Who Would rules.

True..ish, though I'm always very suspicious of "recommended" unit sizes. Someone always tries to claim it's just a recommendation not mandatory as they turn up with one field gun and thirty two crew :D
