My fuckens are in English. Mind you, two things I found unpleasant about the UK were the climate and the women.

Book 5 - Funken Napoleonics in French.
I bought my copies at the small Wargame shop in Kingston upon Thames.
If it was "Games Unlimited Limited" in Castle Street, I used to work in there and am still in touch with the owner, Eamon Bloomfield, who now lives in Germany. Or maybe it was the previous incarnation, which was pure wargames figures - I forget what it was called, but the guy who owned it smoked a pipe.

Book One - Charge. The best book ever written. And it still smells great.
Book Two - 1815: The Armies at Waterloo, Ugo Pericoli. A truly awesome book.
Book Three - European Weapons & Warfare 1618 - 1648, Eduard Wagner. Wonderful illustrations.
Book four - Firepower (with a crafty friend), Major General B P Hughes. Proved to be a bit of an eye-opener.

Tim,
European Weapons and Warfare..........£25 softback from Warlord Games. Not as classy as the original hardback, but still good.
Iain

The Penguin book on the ACW is a few quid on ebay. I like things like that so will have a look.

Book 6 - Ludwig Renn - War
My father collected WW1 fiction. This was one of the first military fiction books I read This book is, in my opinion, much better than All Quiet on the Western Front or Storm if Steel and is the book that got me hooked on the Great War.
I have collected various WW1 armies - firstly first Peter Laing 15mm, Britannia and IT miniatures in 20mm and Renegade in 28mm. I also have Foundry 25mm late war as well.
