Humbrols are for old farts because they expect to die before the tin is empty as a result of the toxic fumes. They also love raping and murdering the planet. Acrylics are what all the cool kids use. And vegans.
Errrrrrr?

I stopped using vegans, they don't react well to a bacon-based primer...

I've never used vegans for painting. Do you chain them to the work bench and solder the bases to the chains.

acrylic-only is so last year. Real cool kids are into a fusion of retro-chic humbrol and modernist acrylic exterior
Bloody hell I’m cool!
Humbrol black enamel undercoat and acrylic varnish: it’s so 21st Century. Halfords spray undercoat is so last week.

Degrease, acid etch primer, Vallejo paint, Vallejo gloss, doctored Daler Rowney matt varnish, steel base. I reckon it's increasingly looking likely that they will out live me.
