They would usually have about 16 aircraft and 20 pilots, but only stick a maximum of 12 in the air and serviceability quickly whittled them down, especially when they were doing multiple sorties per day. One extreme is example was 67 Squadron in Burma, which had 23 Buffalos and about 30 pilots, but appalling serviceability rates only allowed a flight or so to get airborne.

I buy sheet perspex from B&Q then cut out the bases myself. If anyone needs some perspex bases (any size, any shape) please PM me.

A restock of vallejos and bases from Young Leon.
Putting the brakes pn purchasing for now. Bought more than I should really this month. Forgot i have a birthday to pay for and its not mine. Not used to having one in March.

Delivery of a dozen Tamiya paints. They are the best for airbrushing. And the very charming young lady from the hobby shop delivers them in person.

Do you have a shop near to you? I used the one in an old terraced house on the edge of Dundee when I lived up that way.

Was that the shop I saw when I came up for the show in 2019? It did look quite large and well-stocked, albeit with a railway bias. Very handy to have in the centre of town.
