I don't think you can avoid VAT when picking up at a UK show or getting sent to a UK address?

If you can then i'm asking my American friends to buy stuff that I can pick up :evilgrin:

I can name several places who used to charge me VAT when shipping to SA.

Yes leaving 3 weeks tomorrow, a week with family and then a Rhine river cruise with Partizan beforehand

Tomorrow, a friend will be collecting for me from Salute some 1/300 aircraft (Heroics & Ros), some game mat literature from two producers (Deep Cut and Geek Villain), and some dice, dice frames and flight stand pegs (Pendraken- thanks to Leon for persevering with what must be a small order by his standards!).

OK, thank you - I'll keep an eye out for that! (The H&R aircraft are WW2 - I got two packs of PSC BoB aircraft a couple of years back and not a single effin' Me109!)
