Russian Green or Khaki or Greenykhaki?

Post by tim.w »

I know Norm has posted about this before but what are peoples chosen colours for WWII Ruskies in Summer wear? Early war. I've always gone for khaki colours but they aren't always.

I randomly paint trousers and tunics Vallejo Russian Green and English Uniform. They then get a wash with AP Stong Tone and dry brushed the base colour

It's generally greeny not very brownie, but if you are into colour, it can ran ge from gosling green to brownie green and fades faster than western clothes.
