Due to storage issues I’m having a cut down of stuff and a rejig.
Anyone had any experience with these?

Only a brief experience, it seemed ok and quite neat when folded away. I wouldn’t rest anything heavier than a small child on them.

The trestles I use (with an MDF board) are strong enough to take a small adult and are height adjustable but not as neat folded away:

That precludes a visit from the Gateway cavalry then. Though admittedly the table wouldn't be under any stress for long...

Frankly I wouldn't touch that table with the proverbial barge pole. It looks very expensive and might give way if leant on too heavily if the blurb is to be believed.
Wouldn't a standard drop leaf dining table work or some good quality pasting type tables. basement Mark bought some rather nice plastic folding tables for his shop that weren't pricey but he can't remember where he got them from.
Some MDF, Hinges and basic woodworking skills could get you a folding setup that would take more weight.

Costco still do some very strong folding tables at 4’x2’ and 2’x2’, if you are a member of course. Before GHQ was up and running we used these. You can stand on them, so no worries with terrain & masses of cavalry. The tops are some type of rigid plastic and the folding legs metal. We kept one for pasting wallpaper and Sue uses it when crafting.

Those sound like the excellent ones Basement Mark had, his came with plastic fabric cases to store them in too.

Is weight really an issue? What heavy things are you lot flopping on the table?

Body parts.

Generally it’s elbows or someone leaning on it while standing over the table.
