Evening all
Just had a venture into the loft and brought down some very old Games Workshop figures that I acquired in the late 80s I suspect
I have found some lovely dwarves that are reasonably painted and with a wash and a highlight and maybe the odd repaint will be pretty decent I suspect. Lets assume I want to add to these and create a dwarven army what would you suggest?
Any figure ranges that match?

Re: Games Workshop Dwarves
If they are the pre slotta fantasy tribe ones, then some early slottas match and the vendal dwarves did, oh and the Hobbit/Lotro dwarves also match well enough.
Otherwise just send them to me for disposal.

That’s a tough one VB as not many ranges match them in size and style (I know this from bitter experience with my own project). That being said, troll eBay as you can pick up a lot of well priced Mid-hammer stuff. I’ve got a ton of Battle for Skull Pass Dorfs I bought second hand and can probably pass on as I doubt I’m going to use many more of them

I'd have a look at Black Tree Design.
Some of their dorfy stuff is contemporary with early slotta and may match up.
The caveat is that ordering from BTD to the antipodes is about as realistic as ordering from Ruritania to Narnia.

Are the BTD ones the old Harlequin figures?
