Sorting brothers things and came across the Oathsworn figures he liked and had a vague idea to paint maybe.
So do I paint them myself in his honour, leave them as they are to remember him that way?

Personally, I would paint them up and use them. If he has started to paint them, then I would keep to his chosen colour scheme too.
That way every time they're used he'll be remembered.
