Feel free to mock me but I bought a Citadel water pot:
https://www.games-workshop.com/en-AU/Ci ... r-Pot-2018
It's hard to tip over. Its got the cleaning ridges ("no loss of sensitivity"), a point-restorer & a handy place to place your brush, mid-painting. And it only cost $15.
True, an old jam jar is free but this has 'Citadel' embossed on the side!!
As I said, laugh. However, I'm going to buy a second one for metallic paints as I think it's actually pretty good.

:o You'll be using a wet pallet next you progressive you :o
Re: I am a slave to slick marketing
My kids bought me one for my birthday two years back and I think it’s great. I was also dismissive of them until I used it. The little cleaning grooves do make a big difference in cleaning the brush properly I think. If anything ever happens to mine, I’d buy another.

I may even have a look at one in town today.
Re: I am a slave to slick marketing
Madness. If anyone wants baby food jars, which I use and hold water brilliantly I can bring a load to Ayton.
Re: I am a slave to slick marketing
Thanks Tim. I’m going to let my children know the present they bought me, with their own initiative and with their own money, is madness and that you’re going to give me used baby food bottles instead. That’ll show ‘em! :o

Well not give away, they're £2 cheaper than GW.

I use the little glass ramekins you get with m&s chocolate mousse. Every time I need a new one I get a chocolate fix. I change them quite often . . . . .
Why us? Cos we're 'ere lad, nobody else.
