Dear Santa

Post by tim.w »

So far on my list is a Republican Roman DbA army and possibly some Hinchliffe SYW. Maybe a 2x2 or 3x3 mat for DbA/N and a few bits of scenery. If I've been really good maybe a couple of Xyston DbA armies, Thracian and Macedonian.

Nothing, not a sausage. Won't even have a present to unwrap this year.

Am I bitter.... not really. Just the way my crumble cookied!

Ooops did not mean to kill the thread, list your goodies, don't mind me in the corner.

You know I'm buying all this myself yes?

I think you should do same and lavish upon yourself every toy soldier your heart desires!

Yes, but no fun when you have to wrap it yourself, not hand to another to do so.

And EB has just vetoed Camel Guns...

Not wrapped, opened the minute it comes through the letterbox. Santa is on my time when he's on my money. 😄

I really struggled to think of anything wargamey I actually wanted, do I really need to add to the lead/plastic pile unnecessarily? (That's a rhetorical question btw, because I know I will). I did ask for the new Wargamers Annual, and possibly a copy of the new Osprey on the battle for Hue City. If I get Amazon vouchers, a couple of plastic ACW boxes might get purchased.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

Probably won't get it on the 25th but I'll be sticking in an order for 2 more units of shiney infantry. I fancy adding Goums and Chasseurs d'Alpin to the forces of La Cors.

Much the same. I haven’t bought anything new in months. Some odd purchases for existing projects, but that’s it. There’s nothing out there that’s really exciting me.

There’s actually more RPG stuff out there I’m interested in, but we’ve decided only to do presents for the kids and grandchild this year
