Totally awesome!! Really useful piece, and made from that type of card it's probably strong enough to stand on.
Excellent finish and painting too.

Cheers chaps for you kind comments, I was going to engrave brick work but the acrylic paste dried like reinforced concrete. The next one I build I will glue on thin card bricks first, before adding the acrylic paste,

That's a very fine piece!
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!

That's a great little terrain piece, brilliant work. A very useful cute little fort, probably good for biblical through to modern games!

Thanks for all you kind comments and support, it was an easy build. I have had the acrylic paste for about 4 years and not used it. Impressed with it but it was stronger than I thought, so as I said if I want bricks to show I will have to glue on thin card shapes prior to using the paste.

The acrylic paste itself can be fairly easily carved and shaped when half set (ie firm enough to hold a shape but not hardened) if you wanted to add surface detail without the "faff" of adding card bricks. To make sure you don't kick up raised edges you just need to make sure that you're always pressing into the soft surface and never dragging.
