54mm Fantasy

Post by Buff Redux »

Last month I was part of our club's contribution to Wrexham Games Day. Most of the Ooohs and Aaahs we got went to the 800 figure plus Napoleonic game and the stunning 3D printed harbour for our Silver Bayonet demo. My Frostgrave game attracted quite a few young players. Like most of us I am a bit wary of young hands mauling my toy soldiers so I thought why not embrace reality and run a game that kids can pick up easily and use figures that can survive the occasional trip to the floor. Enter Echidna Games Battleblade rules and Tehnolog's 54mm plastics. A job lot purchase on Ebay meant that I got a shedload of figures for about 20p a figure.

The first unit of Tomb Guards are done, dwarves are next up.
