The Batthyányi Dragoons circa 1750

Post by Willz the Wargamer »

I wanted to try painting flats so I had ago at these I picked up last week.
The Batthyányi Dragoons circa 1750ish, not sure how I want to base them
either 50 x 100mm 5/6 figures, 80 x 100mm or 100 x 100mm 12 figures?

They were already painted when I bought them, I have repainted them adding more shading.
Flag by me.

Nice one.

These are Kieler figures and are in dynamic poses.

For cavalry I went for 90 by 50mm with 5/6 figures per base.

Do you have any more in the pipeline?

Excellent! I continue to resist the allure of flats. But it's not proving easy..

Well, they're alright, but a bit two dimensional.......

:fp: oh come on, you were all thinking it!

They're very lovely, Willz. I'm rather taken by these and the other flats I've seen recently.......the game at the Wild Geese event and Mark D's stuff.
