Buildings for Havana game WIP

Post by Willz the Wargamer »

Having decided that I need some buildings for my Havana game next month, I have embarked on some construction
over the past three days.
Foam board, scrap cardboard, UHU glue, match sticks, corrugated cardboard later.
Here is the WIP awaiting paint, I have another 12 to build in the pipeline.

Nicely done. Is the roofing home made or bought/salvaged from something else?

Cheers Paul,
The roof on the large house is from Wills plastic roof a railway firm.
All the others are made from various corrugated cardboard and scored to give a tile effect.

Yes Paul they are drying as I type, just measured the inside of the roof and guessed the rest.
All I did was measure 40 front and back 40 x 100mm and 40 sides 50 x 50mm with a 10mm incline on Friday morning.
Plus 20 roofs. 36mm x 100 mm or 110mm.
Then cut the all out, I do a lot of cutting and guess work modeling.

All you need now is a load of elderly Brits (preferably mostly "dodgy geezers from the East End") to populate your town.....

Lovely work, Willz. Are you going to do "Collateral Damage" versions to reflect the shore bombardment?
If "The System" is the answer, who asked such a bloody stupid question?
