Anyone going to Warfare this weekend?

Post by BaronVonWreckedoften »

(Or next weekend, if you're Peeler.)

I shall be there on the Sunday, purchasing a fully assembled, painted and based Charlie Foxtrot pantile village, and having a serious look at a "Cruel Seas" starter set (assuming they haven't all sold out on the Saturday).

Oooooh! Pics quickly please, I really fancy a lot of that for my Sicilian doings.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

I shall see what I can do, but being somewhat technologically challenged may delay things.

And of course, I shall have the added distraction of my 28mm dog and 1680 officer that I will have picked up from that nice Mr Lanchester......

Not me, but I would be interested in your observations of the Cruel Seas game. I'm waiting for the free boat in the next WI mag.

Not yet, but thanks for the dog AND the Foundry (not Dixon!) officer (much better). Plus I bought one of the old books you sold Mr Lanchester - Elizabeth's Irish Wars by Cyril Falls.

People just aren't called Cyril any more, are they?

I could have flogged you that at twice the price

Please don’t tell the Perry’s I mistook one of theirs for one of Trevor’s. I might never be allowed to buy from them again!

In fairness, it was in a box of Dixon’s. And it was dark, I was tired, I’ve not been well and I’d been drinking.

OK, ok - any one of those would have been enough to let you off the hook. All of them sounds like....well, the aftermath of an orgy.

So, where do you want these dice sent? Nottingham, or further north?
