Fenris Games - new Roman and Mezo-American scenery

Post by levied troop »

Full disclosure, I game with Ian from Fenris and get to see some of his stuff close up.

He’s recently invested in some new 3d printers and the results are here:

https://fenrisgames.com/shop#!/Jungle-F ... ort=normal

The quality struck me as very good for 3d printing, virtually no striation at all, full interior detail on the bits I saw. Currently working out how to justify some of the Roman stuff into my terrain :D

As an aside do you know what those rubber moulds are like LT?
Which one would you use for a cobblestone road in 28mm?
Do they come out as strips or individual tiles?

I have a few of his older pieces. Small stuff for Aztecs or Pulp/Cthulhu. The new pieces really look spectacular. Added to my wish list.

I wasn't of course referring to the Apian way stuff but the rubber moulds

I haven’t seen those specifically but Ian’s comment on the web site is:

“One set cast from this mould will be enough to cover approx. 3x2" surface area. Individual stones average 5x2mm with variation in size, shape, and thickness to give a truly "natural" look when tiled. Average thickness 2mm; easily cut, snapped, and shaped with basic craft tools.

Cast with gypsum-based plasters for longest life of mould re-use; use urethane resins for greater strength & speed - at the cost of some mould longevity.”

Useful for peeps in foreign parts who are keen to avoid significant postage costs?

I’m tempted to use them with the Rubble City Kickstarter I picked up.
