This gallery is intended to act as a progress record and motivator. The picture on day 1 shows all the assembled figures so far. I take no credit for the painted units, they are just as I bought them.
My cunning plan is to use The Pikeman's Lament as a progress driver. I aim to move at least one TPL unit a month through the process from unbuilt to finished. That way I should have a playable force by the end of this year.
Obviously Ayton 2019 takes precedence at the moment but after that I will post at least once a month hoping for kind words and encouragement. You will also have an opportunity to ridicule any unnecessary extra purchases as I will confess all here.*
*Cannon & cuirassiers do not count, I need those.
I know when to go out
I know when to stay in
Get things done

As a man who has ended up with over 260 Minifigs 15mm ECW/TYW cuirassiers - plus another 50+ pistol-toting ones from their Renaissance range - I shall definitely NOT be casting the first stone on this one. (Even cramming 4 figures onto a 40mm-wide base, that's still about 20 x 16-figure units!)
Looks like a pretty solid start to the project.

To be fair, I buy almost nothing off eBay. I can never find the deals everyone else does. I always find things the same price or more expensive than I can get it elsewhere.
