Fire and Fury Spanish Succession

Post by levied troop »

Was there a modification of Fire and Fury for the War of Spanish Succession? I thought I remembered one but my google-fu is failing me.
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Age of Honour.

I thought I sent you the PDF before? PM your e-mail and I'll send you what I have.

Isn't that a Variant/Acenario book of a FnF variant (Age of Eagles)? I think you need both AoH and AoE or is it playable with the standard FnF rules?

My understanding is that AoH is based on the original F&F rules and that AoH contains the amendments and QRS required to adapt the original brigade F&F rules. AoE are stand alone rules.

Age of Honour!
Thanks Iain, you did indeed and I’ve just found it.

Apologies, I’m having a mildly stupid day, combination of age and late nights.

Excellent.

I'm intrigued, is this for something new or do you have WSS stuff already?

You may have already said........in which case you're not the only one with slippage.

I have about 100 French painted plus a couple of other bits (and naturally a horde of unpainted). All Front Rank.

I was just reviewing the box they’re in and wondering if I wanted to sell or finish them and my regular itch for F&F came back. Also, if we doing tricornes for Ayton20 I might give myself a deadline to finish them. I miss deadlines.

I don't know how different FnF is from AoE??
The Age of Honour page on the website describes them thussssssly:

"Age of Honor - la Guerre en Dentelle 1700 thru 89
EACH 88 PAGE, FULL COLOR AGE OF HONOR EXPANSION MODULE CONTAINS:
Introduction - including all rules changes needed to convert AOE to Lace Warfare in less than a page."

So i'd be a bit careful!

I've played AoH WSS a couple of times.

I'm a big fan of F&F, but I wouldn't choose to play AoH. Paul's advice is, as ever, very sound.
