Looks like fun. The scenery is going to look like Antietam.

Newmarket, you sure this isn't one of Monty's Normandy battles?

There was an ACW cavalry battle of that name.

Ah, Bavarians in action - excellent. Got all the Gill books on this campaign, and lots of scenario ideas in them. Plenty of photos please!

Indeed! I read 'With Eagles To Glory' decades ago and OC Domestic very kindly tracked down all three volumes of 'Thunder on the Danube' for me for Christmas 2017 and my ancient copy of Bowden's 'Armies on the Danube 1809' is now very well-thumbed...

Yup, there'll be a post-battle report and we're in a scout hut this time, with hopefully much better lighting than the usual club venue!

Sadly the majority of my Bavarians are ancient Battle Honours figures and are old campaigners, so don't look their best... I did a whole division of AB Bavarians at 1:20 for Mike H, but he sold them to someone else when he ditched the collection... :( I do however, have a stack of unpainted AB Bavarians and have recently made a start on them, as you can see above (and some Battle Honours artillery).
