Regia Marina

Post by bangorstu »

Anyone know a site that gives painting advice for WW2 naval?

I've got some Cruel Seas MAS boats to paint. I could slap on any old light grey but am wondering if there's better advice, or indeed camo I could go for.

The MAS are entertainingly crap. As with their fighters, their very fast and highly manoeuvrable.... at the expense of putting any actual guns on them.

There is an English version of Mimetzione blah di blah which is really quite good. Of course, you would need to buy an entire Italian navy to take advantage of it.
