Iain asked if I wanted to post photos from our 2015 SYW Show game (French versus Prussians) & I ask your indulgence.
Panorama shot (+ me talking to a punter):
The site of much of the fighting; a village whose name escapes me:
The Prussians kept attacking...and generally winning:
The French were generally muddled but always looked splendid:
Some of Fred.the G's more exotic troops:
The Vauban fort. It actually had no purpose in the game beyond eye-candy.
And just for interest; setting up:

Most are. The trunks end in a pin which you push through the fur, into the polystyrene tiles.levied troop wrote: ↑Thu Dec 05, 2019 7:52 am And those trees look like they were planted into the terrain

Sir. You will be no doubt pleased to hear that said teddy bear fur cloth is in the process of being replaced with an environmentally-sourced substitute.
The old cloth's fate is currently in discussion. I, for one, am holding out to use it to clothe a naked bear (Grizzly, Kodiak, Spectacled or any Irish bear for preference). If you are currently naked - I'm envisaging a sudden & complete onset of alopecia - please don't hesitate to put your name forward.

Even better than I remember, Donald. That's a wonderful collection.
