Your'e so right, and I should have read your opening post more thoroughly.

Hate, too strong a word, Avoid where ever possible would be more accurate. Anything smaller then 20mm, Eyes are not up to it anymore and in truth I could not be bothered. I did paint one 15mm figure once, and it took so long that I decided not to pursue it any further. Anything with tricornes on, the lacing round the hat is tortuous to paint, along with Napoleonics in any scale smaller than 54mm. Oh, and horses, they are a complete bore.

Enjoy (as opposed to love) painting ACW Confederates, they are great fun. Colonial troops, but not natives. Modern stuff and WWII Germans, I like having fun with camo schemes, especially as I have come up with a quicker method. And I am totally into my shiny Toy Soldiers, not as easy as one would think to get it right, but terrific when they are done. Also, I enjoy the simplicity of the castings, I grow tired of fiddle faddle sculpts these days.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

That's why Norm doesn't like chimps. Shame Norm, honour your ancestors.

Further to an earlier post......due to an unfortunate medical condition, at the time of the first Ayton I did in fact have two and a half of that of which there should only have been one.

The only thing I hate is cleaning figures for painting.

I’m with Hotel on Tricorne trims. Hate it. Also loving the shinies.

Horses - anything to do with them irritates me greatly.

Love painting horses; not a fan of lace on tricornes, but a necessary evil if you like AWI; hate flesh - can never get it to look merely un-natural, let alone anything better.
