My dad used to sculpt Styrofoam terrain with an electric carving knife, wear dust mask, the stuff is very dangerous. Also, do it in garage, with car in driveway, sweeping up the snow is challenging.

Yes - the serrated edge works well. Use the old one though, not the best one.

Just don't sniff the carcinogenic fumes given off by the smouldering styrofoam.

Yes, there is a nursery of baby minotaurs whose nappies are overdue for a change, steer clear of styro vapours.

To be pernickity, I think it’s just plain poisonous rather than carcinogenic.
It’s got that cyanide in it, IIRC.

A guy at my Karate club cut the styrofoam for his Test of Honour terrain using his katana. Flash but not very practical.
