Well you might as well get Spanish and Portugese while you are at it, and of course the various allied troops the French fielded there, and of course Austrians and French in revolutionary gear for further buildings use, and then you could add SCW as well and of course the British, French, 2 flavours of Spanish and Austrians again for WSS in Spain and Northern Italy....levied troop wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2019 1:23 pmSo.....er.....I had this idea......I mean, I’ve got all that Grand Manor Peninsula resin I’d been using for Garibaldi.......and, er........it seemed a pity to restrict it to that and it was intended for the Peninsula originally, shame not to use it as Dave Bodley intended.......and I remember these photos of Perry 40mm with it and, I mean, they are big buildings and do fit 40mm and......um....those Perry’s 40mm are very nice ....... and I don’t need many of them, say 6 a side for 1:1 skirmish.....and maybe 2 sides - French, British - is only 12 figures...... ok, 3 sides if I include Guerillas....and they do nice casualty figures so I could have a casualty for each man, so 36 figures, Max....honest...and I am reusing terrain so it does work out more cost efficient. Obs really

Buy shares in Perry miniatures! Their 40mm order book is about to overflow. Going by previous form we need to add one or two noughts to LT's starting estimate for figures especially as he said 'skirmish'!

I am sure I can add some more periods for him to make the fullest use of those buildings. Carlist wars for a start.

The Perries 40mm stuff does look nice. But due to good sense, inroads in the lead mountain and abject penury, I can resist.
