Now that is a perfect example of the bond we have with the French ! The stereotypes and humour goes both ways.

Today on the blog, I've got some Cold War Polish Fagots!

These are 15mm Polish AT-4 SPIGOT ATGM teams, which were known to the Soviets of course, as the 9K111 Fagot:

Very nice work. I still have the figures stashed away to do an East German force to match up with my Danes, but they are well down the schedule.

Ooo, Danes... Did you show me those a while back, or was that someone else? I've got a heap of Danes :)

Originally I was going to use Cold War Commander, and then Team Yankee, but lack of opponents and rules has meant they have never seen action. :hair:

Ooo, lovely. I think it was someone else's collection I saw before, but it had all the same elements, funnily enough. I've been working on a Cold War mod of 'Battlefront: WWII' for years and had some good games with my Danes and East Germans.

The core of the RAF element of UK Mobile Force reinforcement to Denmark was two squadrons of Jaguars from Coltishall and a squadron of Pumas from Odiham, with the option to take a squadron of Harriers from Wittering. They were also to receive a squadron of German Hueys from the Schleswig-Holstein Territorial Force. The Army element was 1 Brigade, which was mostly lorried infantry (eventually upgraded to Saxon), a weak (Type 43) Regiment of Chieftains, a Medium Recce Squadron and other bits.

Awesome!

I've just caught up with the Napoleonic game - also awesome. Love the battlefield plans.
