But has anyone told the dice this?

History book today, and one that isn’t nostalgia. Along with their book on Cowpens this is a masterpiece in how to analyse a battle

Good choice- I have a copy of the Cowpens book but have not got the Guilford Courthouse one.

What the other noble gentleman just said.
Kein Plan überlebt den ersten Kontakt mit den Würfeln. (No plan survives the first contact with the dice.)

After watching the BBC's drama War and Peace (1970s version) I wanted to refight Borodino so started collecting more Airfix French to paint up the Russians. At the same time I bought this wonderful book from Shepards of Gateshead.

For me, that is pretty much the problem.

Here’s my number one -

I love this book, I got it Somewhere between age 12 - 14 and is probably my most reread book - as you can tell by the tatters.
And the page photo I used to stare at repeatedly and is definitely to blame for me being in this hobby.

I definitely used to invest so much more time in a single thing such as this book or a magazine article, etc. We have so much to look at now.
