Looking at them, I could easily spend £100 and do an 1870 to 1900'ish mash up of forces.

Emhar set 3502 is WWI British artillery with crew in 1/32. Dunno how widely available it is.

Get a Swann and Morton scalpel and a supply of 10A blades and that will scrape them very effectively, and above all don't forget to wash them first in luke warm soapy water, saves a lot of grief later.
Rules? You ask me what rules do I use. No, I don't do rules.

They do infantry too, kitlady webstore has them for £9 I think. They're 1/35 and quite small compared to AIP's 1/32 for example.

Personally I'd go AIP for WW1.

Just won a bid on 125 good condition old 1/32 Airfix figures. Bargain at £23. They'll give me enough for what I need.

I do of course have bucket fulls but they're locked down at my mums. Any surplus will be going in the nursery for Waudby Junior.

Things must be bad if Bojo is locking down toy soldiers.

Having rescued both my books I'm going to try and get to grips with them this time and maybe even make a QRS.

I really wish I hadn't looked at this thread, now for some reason I have a hankering for the Germans and Highlanders WW1 set
