Or option (d) all of the above.

Actually nothing at the moment as the "room-to-room shit-shifting" that precedes every social event in our house (in this case, my wife's annual birthday barbecue) has led to the inevitable torrent of OPS (other people's shit) swamping my painting desk. Prior to that, my SP2 71st Foot force was in pole position. :hair:

However, as if the OPS tsunami was not enough, a box of 1/72 Revell SYW Austrian artillery decided to fall on them, totally unaided, from a place it had occupied without incident for over a year atop one of my bookshelves. And as luck(?) would have it, it chose to target the bayonet of one of the only two figures with a plastic weapon and snapped it. :hair:

Their punishment is to be dispatched to the Colonies where I'm hoping that Ochoin will ensure that they suffer repeated massacres at the hands of Prussian cavalry (I'm very much a traditionalist when it comes to social retribution).

Usually 3-4 things at once, in different stages. One is generally terrain/scenery related.
Currently looking at:
6mm SYW
6mm 19th century
hit/damage markers
sabot bases
terrain boards

I'm a bit obsessed with the SYW at the moment (...n-o-o-o!....).

So: at various stages, the 40 infantry figures needed for another 2 battalion Austrian regiment, various bits of Zvevda figures needed for my "Frankenstein" Austrian cuirassiers & I'm scratch building a limber for said Austrian SYW army.

Boring, ain't I?

28mm Punic Wars, various manufacturers. When these reach basic playability then I will venture into the Lead Pimple for something different not involving bronze. Probably 28mm ACW at a guess.
There is no point in being stupid if you don't show it!
