Basically yes. Military modellers swear by it.
Don’t know yet I’ve used it on water slide transfers to good effect but not yet on LBM. The LAF thread suggests it’s ok.FreddBloggs wrote: ↑Fri Jul 31, 2020 7:16 am being self adhesive, does the microsol not affect the glue?
I get lockdown, but I get up again.

Agree. The blue softens the transfer so the edges become less pronounced. I have a strong suspicion its actually white vinegar.Smells like it. The red causes the transfer to shrink fit so it wraps around details such as zimmerit paste etc. very nice results. No idea if it works or is needed on LBM transfers as I've only used it on vehicles and traditional kit transfers

Thanks, I was going to buy and paint another unit, but then.......I kinda lost steam. Last time I wielded a brush was for those 8th Army guys for Ayton.

you need to get those Trojans done !
Re: Little Big Man Decals
Microsol won’t work on Trojans. Not unless you buy the gossamer ones.

Microsol might make your trojan shrink, or even fall apart under use.

The "micro" prefix isn't too awe-inspiring, either.....

Leave my "Trojan" alone! I suppose if I started painting again it would be them.
