Re: Dear Santa
How much PPE are you going to pretend to supply?
Re: Dear Santa
That's between me and the Treasury.
Re: Dear Santa
I don't think I actually need anything, I've got shafts of plies of unpainted lead already. Though the Wargamers Annual is a thought.
Fred, pm me your address, I'll post you a sausage.

Memorues of my childhood smells right there.
And damn fine eating.

Re: Dear Santa
I found a brand-new copy of Christopher Duffy's 'By Force of Arms'* still in its shrink-wrap, online for the cover price of £35, as opposed to the usual asking price of £100+! This info was forwarded to the Memsahib and yesterday the postie delivered a large book-sized/shaped/weighted packet addressed to her, with a return label matching the seller!
* 'By Force of Arms' is Vol 2 of his series on the Austrian Army of the SYW, Vol 1 being 'Instrument of War'. For some reason it only had a very limited print-run, sold out before I knew it had even been published and has ever since been impossible to get for a reasonable price. I was only speaking about it to the boss at Helion Books last weekend and he was saying that while they have plans to re-publish it (as they have with 'Instrument of War'), it won't be until 2023! Consequently, I was VERY lucky to stumble across this and it's made my Christmas!
