I was going to ask of anyone had used it since. Seems a lot less wargames stuff about on it lately and I assumed it was a result of the paypal divorse.Paul wrote: ↑Thu Nov 25, 2021 1:43 pm I've found that the new non-paypal system for payments on Ebay seems to work pretty well, no hitches so far.
However why is it that a large proportion of people on the other side of the pond don't seem to understand how the postal system works? In the past two days i've had one enquiry asking why the postage for a set of rules from the Uk to the USA is more than a couple of dollars and another asking why they hadn't received the item which they had purchased two days before and has to cross the Atlantic! I've also heard from traders that a disproportionate number of claimed "non-deliveries" originates from that part of the world!
So the moral...send everything signed for and politely field the tw*ts.

The Payment system seems to work fine.
The amount of Wargaming stuff has been declining over the last five or six years I think. Unfortunately that starts to spiral down as a lack of things for sale leads to a lack of interest, which means less sales and lower prices so even fewer things put on for sale etc... etc...

Remember that most items get hoovered up by Buff before we get a chance to buy them

Not true! Well not completely true. Fill your boots on 15mm, 25mm, ACW, WWII, Ancients and just about anything "pre slotta" unless it's a goblin wolf chariot.
Seriously, much of the Wargames stuff is business shops and box splinters and you see a few enthusiastic amateur sellers listing stuff even Peeler wouldn't try flogging. Ebay just keeps relisting unsold stuff so the same tat keeps reappearing.
