My favourite Brushes are Daler System 3 and particulary the 10/0 liner brush. They dont cost too much and my last one lasted for ages.

I like Rosemary & co, last for ages and keep their tips, and I am hard on brushes.

Interesting comment, I bought a set mail order after reading a rave review and to say the least I was somewhat disappointed with them !!

Interesting. I've bought about 6 sets of their synthetic ones over the last couple of years and been quite happy with them.

Brushes are a personal thing. I’m not sure how you can decide they are no good for another.

There is often also a huge amount of snobbery around brushes. I don’t know why.

That was my experience as well John. Then I read more rave reviews and tries them again. And found them very average again.

As Jeremy said, brushes are very personal. I dread to think what some members here might do with them...

ABC stock a very wide range of qualities. I buy quite a few of their synthetic ones and use them lots. I'm not particularly careful with them but get good use before they join the priming pile... They work well for me...

I've not tied any of their sable ones but I'm not sure I'd expect a Rosemary or W&N quality from them.

Purps doesn’t use a paintbrush. But some other appendage.
