How I wished that didn't have a ring of truth to it.
Do you ditch the old when you trade up?

I tried to get my daughter to use them as nail varnish. For some reason, she wasn't interested.

Lovely shiny new paints now in the paint box - old stuff dispatched to storage to quietly congeal.

Have you got that dark green you painted all your moderns with?Slugbalancer wrote: ↑Sat Dec 30, 2017 11:35 am I've just been through my old Tamiya piants and ditched three of them as they had dried beyond rescuing but I'm left with around 30 that I have no use for, having moved on to other brands. What to do with them?

There are few subjects about which I know so little but, yes, always kick the old out before you take up with the new.

Your old ones should be relegated to a dark corner, there to be forgotten about for about 5 years or so, until you find them, use them, & decide that they are better than your new ones.
Repeat with current new ones.

Surely with women, you let them fight each other to a sweaty, unclothed stalemate, then make a magnanimous offer allowing them to share you?
